Absolutely. Pick a template, fill in guided sections, and CVlume handles spacing, hierarchy and pagination. Most first-time users finish in under 10 minutes.
Yes. We have student-focused templates that emphasise education, projects, coursework and volunteering — and a writing assistant that suggests bullet points when you don't have full-time experience yet.
No. CVlume runs entirely in your browser. Your CV is autosaved as you type and is available on any device when you sign in.
Yes — PDF download is part of every plan, including the free one, and there is no limit on how many times you export. The only exception is a CV that uses Pro templates, palettes or fonts, which needs active Pro access to download. The exported file embeds its fonts, so it looks identical for the recruiter on any device.
Yes. Use the Print button or open the PDF and print at 100% scale on A4 or US Letter. Margins are tuned for both paper sizes.

Yes. Our PDFs use real text — not images — and follow ATS-safe layout rules: standard section headings, no text hidden inside graphics, and a predictable reading order.
Of course. Every CV stays in your dashboard and can be edited or duplicated at any time, and changes are autosaved as you type.
Drag sections to reorder, toggle them on or off, and choose colour, density and font from the side panel. Changes preview live as you make them.
Yes. CVlume supports multiple interface languages and lets you generate the same CV in different languages without rewriting it from scratch.
Never. We don't sell or share your personal information. Analytics is fully anonymised and can be disabled in cookie preferences.
